Successful Group Brave Windy Brecons!
The final hike group of 2022 successfully summited Pen Y Fan (via Corn Du) from the Storey Arm side and back down in a little over 2 hours in the howling winds yesterday.
Matt took his final group of the year up to the Brecons alongside long-time hiking partner Jack Roberts (no relation) and the two clients did very well as the rains hammered down on South Wales and the winds topped out at over 60mph but it didn't deter their summit push.
Congratulations to Rhiannon and Maddie, who tick Pen Y Fan off there lists just as 2022 closes out, for their positive attitudes and efforts during tough conditions. Matt said after the trip that it was fun and easy for him to work with both girls.
Rhiannon has ticked off Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Pen Y Fan during 2022 now and just needs Scafell Pike to tick off the British mainland highest peaks. This was Maddie's first ever mountain climb.
